Our Autumn Sun Reset Retreat offers the perfect blend of Pilates, yoga, delicious nourishment, self-exploration, and community — all set in a breathtaking luxury villa nestled in the peaceful hills of Benissa, Spain. With soft late-autumn light spilling over the La Fustera Valley, this is your invitation to slow down and reconnect.

As we move into winter — nature’s most introspective season — this retreat offers a space to pause, take stock, and gently prepare for what’s to come. A time to reflect on the year behind you, and plant seeds of intention for the one ahead.

Throughout this retreat, you’ll be guided through intentional movement practices — from energising Pilates to grounding yoga and mindful rituals. Enjoy nourishing meals prepared by our private chef, moments of stillness, and spacious time in nature — including Beach Pilates & Meditation, and a coastal hike along the Mediterranean sea.

This retreat is a chance to soften into stillness, rest deeply, and feel held — whether you're moving through a personal transition or simply longing for a pause from everyday life. Each day, a thoughtfully designed programme awaits, so all you have to do is show up and receive. With a supportive community around you, you’ll have space to move, reflect, and reconnect with your sense of self.

Movement Styles & Your Instructors

Pilates
Classic | Modern | Power Pilates

Nadia (she/her) is trained in Mat Pilates as well as Reformer. Her journey with movement—and professional career—began at the age of 3 when she started ballet. She quickly understood the importance of taking care of both the body and the mind. In her classes, she emphasise the mind-body connection, encouraging students to shift their focus from external appearances to internal sensations. “I truly believe that it is how we feel—not how we look—that matters. Working out should be fun, bring smiles to our faces, foster a sense of community, and contribute to a healthier life led with more energy,” she says. During the week, Nadia will take you through a full repetoire of Pilates incl. classic techniques, her signature Power Pilates classes, and a HIIT Pilates session, which is guaranteed to make you sweat (her playlists are sensational, so it’s impossible not to move).

Nadia is also a Certified Personal Trainer and offers 1:1 sessions. This will be available during the retreat at an additional cost (€100). Book in advance.

Yoga
Yin | Somatic | Restorative | Yoga Nidra | Yin Yang

Emma (she/her) is your Yoga Alliance certified teacher (and founder of Sense of Self). Whether in life or her yoga practices, she focuses on embodiment and self-compassion, encouraging participants to honour their mind and body’s needs. She aims to create spaces where showing up as you are and moving in alignment with what feels right is the priority. This philosophy guides everything she does incl. retreats, as she’s passionate about fostering safe, judgment-free spaces for self-exploration. “My outlook, in life & in yoga, is about “giving it a go” and doing what feels good, always reminding participants (and myself!) that it’s called a yoga practice, not yoga perfect,” she says. Throughout the week we will work with different styles, and she will also guide you through breathing techniques, mindful rituals, and meditation experiences for a complete practice.

For those who wish to deepen their inward journey during the retreat, Emma offers the option of either a private yoga session or a 1:1 Holistic Therapy session — tailored to your personal physical, emotional, or energetic needs. Whether you're navigating something specific or simply craving more personalised support, these sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Each session includes a PDF with personalised tools and practices to support your wellbeing beyond the retreat — from movement and breathwork to rituals, journaling prompts, or simple lifestyle shifts. You’ll be required to fill out a pre-assessment from in advance to best ensure your needs are met.

A Day In The Life Of: Sense of Self Retreats

Accommodation & Investment

You’ll be staying in a beautiful luxury villa tucked into the peaceful hills of Benissa, with sweeping views of the La Fustera Valley and the Mediterranean Sea. Thoughtfully designed with earthy tones, organic textures, and natural materials, the villa offers a warm, grounding space to rest and reconnect.

Large windows and open terraces invite in the late autumn sun, filling the space with golden light throughout the day. Inside, you’ll find cosy, bohemian-style rooms, spacious communal areas perfect for unwinding, and an atmosphere that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Just a short walk from the sea, the villa offers plenty of options to embrace quiet reflection, retreat bestie hangouts, or curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.

To keep the setting intimate and personal, we’ll be a maximum of 8 guests — allowing for spaciousness, meaningful connection, and plenty of individual care.

It’s the ideal environment to slow down, embrace the softness of the season, and fully sink into the retreat experience.

*AIRPORT TRANSFER A shared shuttle leaves from Alicante Airport at 12:00 noon on the day of arrival and leaves at 9.30 AM to Alicante Airport on day of departure.

EXCLUSIONS: Flights, Travel- & Medical Insurance.

ROOM INFORMATION: Shared Rooms are designed for two guests, each with their own comfortable single bed. Single Occupancy Rooms offer a private space for one guest. Bathrooms are shared between two rooms and are conveniently located in the hallway.

Final retreat details and confirmation will be sent at least 75 days before the start date. We recommend waiting until then to book your flights to ensure your plans align smoothly.

  • We welcome all travellers. This retreat is perfect for solo adventurers seeking the comfort and safety of a group with supportive hosts, as well as those wanting to bring someone along to create new memories together. All levels are welcome.

    You can definitely come alone! A lot of our guests come alone, and a retreat is a great place to make new friends and meet like-minded people. You are welcome to book a Private Occupancy Room or we can pair you up with other solo travellers for a shared room if available.

  • No, not at all! We welcome all levels, and our retreats are available to everyone. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, our retreats are designed to accommodate YOU. We provide options for all levels, from light sessions for those who prefer a gentler approach to more challenging ones for those seeking a deeper practice. You can choose what feels right for you on any given day, and our instructors are always there to offer guidance and support.

  • We will provide you with a suggested packing list closer to the time on our Instagram @senseofself.retreats.

    But we always recommend:

    • Swimwear

    • Sunscreen

    • Sun hat / cap

    • Walking shoes (sneakers/running shoes are fine!)

    • Reusable water bottle

    • Comfortable clothes for Pilates, yoga, and other physical activities

    • Clothes to wear in the daytime + evening (bring a layer in case it’s colder)

    • Insect repellent

    • Sandals and/or flip flops

    • Electrical adaptor (it’s EU plug sockets in Spain)

  • Nourishing, tasty, body- & soul-fuelling food!

    We love food and think it is a very important part of any retreat experience. We work hard to curate a beautiful menu of fresh and local produce. All meals are communal to support connections and times to share. If you have any dietary or allergies, please let us know in your booking form.

  • Whilst our days are designed with plenty of activities to give you the best retreat experience, there will be time for downtime to explore on your own or simply chill by the pool and read a book.

  • The group size varies. There will be a maximum of 8 guests. We aim to create an intimate environment to support the community feel while still giving you the freedom to be able to do your own thing when you want.

  • We LOVE when retreat guests extend their time abroad into a longer holiday, and will be more than happy to check with the venue if you’d like.

    You can always go spend some time in nearby cities as well — Ibiza and Mallorca are also only a ferry-ride (or very short flight) away!
